Imperfections

Hung on the wall like a series of formal variations these pieces of glass salvaged in the a framers workshop show the marks that indicate a manufacturing default. The quasi spontaneous gesture of the framer, which marks the default, bears other significations. Asking the framer to frame this pieces of reject glass, Fayçal Baghriche brings the work of the artist and artisan together and reconsiders the gesture that generates a graphic form.
